乌尼莫克的历史

1945年第二次世界大战结束后,所谓的摩根索计划(Morgenthau:美国财政部长)打算将德国转变为农业国。以此目的,当然,农业拖拉机是必需的。

The history of the Unimog

After the end of World War II in 1945 the so-called Morgenthau plan (Morgenthau: American Minister of Finance) intended to convert Germany into an agricultural state. For this purpose,

of course, tractors for agriculture were required.

That was the signal for the development of the Unimog in Germany. Based on the first design drawings in 1946 prototypes were built and tested from autumn 1946.

After the first presentation at an agricultural fair in Frankfurt in 1948, series production began

in 1949, which was then taken over in 1951 by Mercedes-Benz AG in Gaggenau /

Baden-Württemberg.

Since 2002, the Unimog is in production at Wörth plant of Daimler AG, the largest truck factory in the world. This plant also assembles the Actros, Antos, Arocs, Atego, Econic and Zetros series.

The Unimog and the truck series have a worldwide sales and service network

The technology of the Unimog

The unique concept of this vehicle from 1945 included:

- 4 same size wheels

- Portal axles

- All wheel drive

- Differential locks in both axles

- PTO shafts front / rear for operating implements

- Loading area for goods transport

plus an engine output of 25 hp and a top speed of 50 km/h.

Since 2018, the Unimog-Club China is an official Mercedes-Benz Brand Club.

The recognition was given by the Mercedes-Benz Classic Club Management of Daimler AG, Stuttgart.
